Who is King?
When I was looking to continue my graduate education, I wanted to challenge myself by finding a program that would be rigorous and provide hands-on opportunities. I have gotten that and so much more at Illinois Tech. Working in the Advanced Energy Control Laboratory on flexible multi-cylinder engines, I’ve conducted research with real-world partners on projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy. This has helped me refine my technical skills and prepare me for a career in what I am most interested in.
That’s Interesting
I had the opportunity to participate in the Society of Automotive Engineers’ international commercial vehicles conference in Schaumburg, Illinois, where I gave a keynote-style presentation about my research. I worked with moderators for that conference who trained me in how to give a keynote, which was an experience I didn’t anticipate receiving.
