Who is Shadawn?
Perseverance isn’t just a word to me; it defines who I am. From overcoming a life-threatening car accident that left me with two broken legs, a broken arm, and in a coma for about a week, to being a full-time law student with a five-year-old daughter, I see each challenge as an opportunity for growth. My decision to attend Chicago-Kent College of Law provided another challenge, but one that came with a level of support from the college that I truly appreciate. I honed in on my passion for law and took advantage of every opportunity available—and got my first legal job.
