Being able to jump on the Red Line or Green Line helped me explore Chicago more than I would have before. It opened my eyes to the different job opportunities out there.

Illinois Tech provided an education that prepared me for the real world. Excellent instructors stressed the fundamentals necessary to be a well rounded engineer.

Despite having studied engineering, I was fortunate enough to secure a job on campus that enabled me to explore and enhance a different set of skills. As of now, I am in a managerial role that allows me to make significant contributions to various large-scale projects across the university.

Illinois Tech allowed me to break the glass ceiling in administrative fields by obtaining my master's degree. It opened new doors and opportunities in other fields that would have not been there for me previously.

Downtown Chicago's vibrant business scene turns every corner into a new learning opportunity for me—from presentations at large tech firms, to understanding the rise and fall of historic Chicago-based businesses such as Sears, Roebuck, and Co. The faculty have connected me with many opportunities to learn from local business leaders. I feel well prepared to build a future-proof organization when I graduate next year!
